Welcome back for a brand new year! 2023 was a good year for Synoptics with an excellent product launch for Fistreem with the Hydros deioniser and launched improved service contracts for Syngene, Synbiosis, Fistreem and Gallenkamp. 2024 is looking to be even better. We are at Analytica in April 2024 (make sure to drop by stand 314A to say hi) and launching NEW products for both Syngene and Synbiosis.

Employees

We welcomed several new team members in 2023. Nick Perkins joined us as an Application Specialist and has contributed excellent skills to our Synbiosis team while providing customers with support for our products. Kirsty McGlashan has infused new energy into our marketing department. Dane Smith has joined our product team and has improved our distribution process. Lastly, Josh Greene is our most recent addition and has already made significant contributions to our support team.

Syngene and Synbiosis

Staying at the forefront of digital imaging in labs is our aim, and this will continue to drive our focus in 2024. Product development is key with the 2024 launch of the next-generation NuGenius and the newest variant of the AutoCOL family, which will revolutionise environmental monitoring.

Fistreem and Gallenkamp

Fistreem and Gallenkamp, we have big plans to ensure they grow alongside Syngene and Synbiosis. Here, brand development and product development work side by side to provide you with the very best lab equipment.

SDI Group

In 2023, our parent company, SDI, acquired Fraser Anti-Static Techniques and Peak Sensors, contributing to their continued growth. For 2024, SDI aims to maintain their value-creating business model by investing in the capacity and capability to facilitate organic growth within their portfolio of businesses. Additionally, they plan to pursue acquisition opportunities and undertake new building projects as they arise. See the full report for 2023 here.
