Visualisation Without Compromise.
A green/blue LED transilluminator offers safe, high-contrast nucleic acid gel visualisation without the risks of UV exposure. Optimised for red and green, fluorescent dyes, it supports routine DNA and RNA analysis, gel documentation, cloning workflows, and teaching applications. With efficient LED technology and flexible standalone or darkroom use, it delivers reliable performance for modern molecular biology laboratories.
Viewing Area
The large 26 × 21 cm viewing surface accommodates bigger agarose gels and higher sample throughput, improving laboratory efficiency and reducing repeat runs. Uniform LED illumination ensures consistent gel visualisation across the entire surface.
Workflow
An included amber viewing screen enables easy and safe band excision during gel cutting, helping streamline workflows while protecting both users and sensitive nucleic acid samples.
Flexibility
Engineered for versatile operation, the unit can be used as a standalone LED transilluminator or integrated within a darkroom imaging system (supplied without amber filter screen). Optimised excitation for red and green dyes ensures compatibility with a wide range of modern safe stains used in DNA and RNA analysis.
