At Synoptics, we aim to provide excellent post-purchase support and offer preventive maintenance to ensure that your Syngene, AirClean, Synbiosis, Fistreem, and Gallenkamp systems offer the best results and are a long-lasting investment.

With this in mind, in May 2023, we are launching our new service contract programme. These flexible contracts provide different service levels for all our brands so that you can find the best price and service. Want to know more? Download our guide below:

Why do I need my system serviced?

Having your product serviced is optional, which means you don’t have to sign up for one when you purchase one of our systems – but we highly recommend it.

Our service contracts have been built around you to extend the life span of your investment, save money and time from unexpected breakdowns, and provide support from our team, including the people who built your system. All of this means you can focus on doing your job and producing reproducible, reliable and accurate results, knowing you have our support.

What is included in a service contract?

Our range of levels of cover means you can find the perfect contract for you. High-end contracts include the cost of labour, meaning you never have to worry about the cost of calling us out. The optional extras include onsite visits, spare part costs, preventative maintenance and more. Make sure to check out our brochure for the full details of each level.

Are Service Contracts worth it?

Whether service contracts are worth it depends on you and your needs. All our systems are significant investments, taking time with capital purchase orders, demonstrations and testing. Therefore, we recommend you continue investing in your system post-purchase to ensure you get the best out of your system.

On the other hand, you may have contracts with a third-party contractor to maintain your units across your lab. This option may be cheaper overall, but you lose our expert team who build and design our systems and software, meaning no learning curve, which saves you time.

How long does my service contract last for?

Our contracts last for one year unless you purchase multiple years. Near the end date of your contract, we will contact you with a renewal reminder. At that point, you can decide to extend or review the contract for a different level of cover. You may also choose not to renew your contract at this time. We understand company policies change over time, so we are flexible with our contracts. If at any point you need to cancel your contract, please feel free to contact us.

What else do you offer?

In our portfolio, we also offer IQ/OQ’s, calibrations, commissioning of units, training for Syngene Gel Documentation units and one-off-service visits. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you require any of these services, and we will be happy to help.
